This article talks about making awareness about smoking to teens and adults.By advertising on the combination of public service announcements and paid advertising for television,radio,newspaper,magazines,billboards,in theaters,online,facebook,twitter and youtube.They are also exposing the dangers of being exposure to secondhand smoke.
I think this campaign will effect allot of people minds about smoking.It shows smoking and all its dangers.And it is consistent in its cause.The campaign is not only on tv commericals but on bill boards and etc.It shows their determination for a good cause.-Cierra

What is the chance of her even knowing who her parents are if she is still alive?
The article i chose was ,”UK police say missing girl Madeleine McCann may still be alive.” I chose this article because it really caught my attention.The article is about a little girl,Madeleine McCann,who went missing in 2007.When she vanished she was on vacation with her family in Portugal,she was at her parents apartment,while they were out at dinner.The police released a new picture of how she may look at 9 years old.They reviewed the case in May of last year and has been going through the details from the case.They say as a result from that there may be a chance she is still alive.Detective Cheif Inspector Andy Redwood,who is leading the case,say they will continue to look for her.
With all your comments it opened my eyes to some things that might had happenent that i didnt think of.I do believe that she might have gotten kidnapped.I also believe that she has a 50% chance of being found alive and a 50% chance of being found died.Which i pray is not the case that she be found died.Because in some cases people have been found alive over a long period of time .And all you can do is never stop searching and pray.-Cierra

I think doctors or people who are constantly around radiation. I also, think elderly people are most likely to get cancer because their body can't fight things off as much as a young person. I just think anyone around toxic or something that can give you cancer. Also, people who go, and get tanned because of the lights. Studies have shown people who are tall, and obese also have a higher chance. Also, people who smoke tobacco are more likely to get cancer.- Arielle Walker
I think doctors are more likely to develop cancer as the previous response said. I also think that children can also be more likely to develop cancer because if it passes down from generation to generation. Cancer can run in their family and it could be in their blood. The doctors may be likely to catch it because they deal with all the radiation on a regular basis and they could get it as well. People who are out in the sun all the time. I think people who is more likey to get cancer is children and like the other response’s said an elderly person would be more likey to get it. Also doctors could get it to , because some doctors treat clients that have cancer and there around them so much that they might catch something when in the room with them and not know it. Yes , i do think she was killed by her grandmother. Her grandmother knew she wasn't that old enough for her to be running around the house so many times .Savannah didn't do nothing wrong and her grandmother took it out on her to hard .

I think Savannah was killed by both of them because the Grandma made her run. That caused her to become dehydrated. It also caused her to have low sodium. the stepmother contributed by not stopping the grandmother from hurting her child. She was probably abusing Savannah already so she probably didn’t care. No, I don't believe the grandmother should get the death penalty.The reason I say no is because I don't think anyone should be put to death ,but I do believe she should go to jail for the rest of her life. -Cierra
Yes, I believe that Savannah’s grandmother should get the death penalty if proven guilty because she should get a taste of her own medicine. The grandmother shouldn’t have killed the little girl. She was an innocent little girl. The grandmother basically tortured the little girl for nothing. The little girl should have never been put through this because she didn’t do anything wrong. The grandmother deserves to be treated somewhat like the girl did. Personally, I think that the grandmother should be sent to the electric chair. I agree with you Cierra, and feel like family should help you, and not cause the problems that you have to deal with. Not only that, but I feel like sometimes parents and stepparents aren't ready to be parents and have kids. I think children should come from a loving home because if you put them in a bad environment they come to school, and cause problems. The article was about a nine year old girl named Savannah who was forced to run for eating chocolate. Her neighbors thought she was just being a kid till they saw the ambulance show up. Later it came out that Savannah was crawling,crying, and begging to stop because she was running for three hours. They blame the grandmother, and stepmother, but only the grandmother is facing the capital charge. The mother is facing felony murder which means if she is convicted she won’t face the death penalty. The stepmother’s attorney said that she was sad and urged people to disregard rumors and assuming things. The pathologist ruled Savannah’s death as a homicide, and said her body couldn’t handle it. Savannah was extremely dehydrated and has a extremely low sodium level. One rumor that they aren’t exactly sure is true is if her grandmother was screaming at her like a drill sergeant encouraging Savannah to keep moving. Neighbors where saying it’s sad, and that what happened is child abuse.

Joe Biden said he didn’t believe that Obama was ready to be president because he feels that Obama just isn’t ready. Even though Obama has saved many jobs and created many more things. Joe Biden just thinks overall that Obama isn’t ready for that type of stuff. I think that Joe Biden thinks that being president, is too advanced for Obama. He also thinks that he won’t be able to handle it. Joe Biden is doubting Obama with all the things that he do. I do agree with you Trineshia because at first I didn’t think he could handle it and still don’t. When he first came in office his hair wasn’t grey and now it is and you could say it was because of age but I think it was because of stress. Not only that, but when he was in office the people in office was always trying to go against him, and were giving him a hard time. So I think he was to nice to deal with people that could careless. Vice President Joe Biden gave a speech criticizing the economic policies. He was saying that the Republican contenders were a threat and harmful to the middle class. Joe Biden was also saying if you give them the key to the White House they will bankrupt the middle class because they are more concerned with protecting the “privileged sector”. Biden was quoting Republican nominee’s saying to let places go bankrupt. He was also saying how Obama saved a lot of jobs and created many more too. They also said back in 2007 Sen. Biden didn’t believe Obama was ready to be president. Andrea Saul said that more than four years later Biden was right. Reince Priebus was saying Obama’s polices have failed and change it needed. Officials said the campaign couldn’t wait until May or June to begin replying to the Republican attacks. Priebus made another statement about Obama and sent it in an email. The email said"Voters have a clear choice this November: continue down Barack Obama's path of broken promises and failed policies, or change direction with new leadership committed to reversing the Obama agenda that has Americans worse off than they were four years ago."

Why do you think Zumba is very popular?
I think Zumba is very popular because it gets peoples attention.The movements that they do gets people to want to join in the fun.With the aerobics and dance it moves ever part of your body.And the music gives you energy.When doing Zumba you dont even know your working out.But you feel it in your body and you start losing weight.I think Zumba is popular because it gets your attention and gets you working out without you even knowing.-Cierra

Why do you think people like Zumba instead of just exercising?I think people like Zumba instead of exercising because it is more fun. I also think that they like Zumba better because they are having fun dancing and moving around. I believe that Zumba makes people feel young again because they’re getting into shape and having fun dancing around. I think it takes them back to their young teenage years and this could be why they like it so much. Zumba seems to be fun adults and it seems that they will be telling everyone about their experience with it and will get everyone to try it out. - I agree with you that Zumba does look fun. I also, think it engages people to get into exercising without the whole "when can I get off the machine" thing. I don't think that Zumba should be highly recommended for adults. I think it should be more for kids and teens because Zumba has fast music, and should keep children entertained. The newer generation is use to things being fast, and I think Zumba could keep down some of the rates of obese, and certain types of diabetes, and cancers. Zumba is a Colombian slang word meaning buzz like a bee or to move fast. People are saying Zumba turns exercising into a party. Zumba isn’t like any other workout it breaks some of the rules of fitness. Like using music in the original form and nor in step counts. Zumba has now become a brand name. Alberto Periman, co-founder and CEO of Zumba Fitness has trained over 20,000 instructors around the world. He has also sold more than 3 million DVDs. People are calling Zumba a form of therapy, and you see people change for when they walk in to when they walk out. People’s faces are brighter, and they have fun. Lilieth Burke was saying the moves are simple, and not really hard. Burke was saying she sleeps better, feels younger, and more fit. More people are choosing Zumba to exercise now.
